Cristiano Ronaldo |
Cristiano Ronaldo, has been absent from some games, due to a minor injury as confirmed by the club's Manager, Ralf Rangnick, Man Utd haven't been outstanding in their performance despite their wins.
Recall that few weeks ago, there was serious misunderstanding in the Old Trafford, as the likes of the English captain, Harry Maguire, Edinson Cavani and young Mason Greenwood raged over Ronaldo's influence on the team over his fellow teammates. Furthermore, they alleged that he has influenced the squad selection in some games, thereby making it difficult to either substitute or drop him in some games.
According to their claims, they blamed him for the poor performance of some players who were in-form before his arrival. This looks ridiculous because ever since CR7 returned, he has been the Saviour of the team especially in the UEFA champions league.
Ronaldo's absence and Man Utd Underperformance, a proof that he isn't the problem
Following Ronaldo's absence, it should be clear to his teammates that he isn't the reason for the teams underperformance. His presence has an advantage on the pitch because he's a big threat to their opponents.
In my opinion, I think CR7 shouldn't be blamed for Man Utd's poor performance. Some players really need to sit up, purge off every malice or jealousy in their hearts against any teammate and improve themselves. Such players are Rashford, Fred, Bruno, Maguire, Cavani, Luke Shaw, Wan–Bissaka and Greenwood.
What do you suggest on this?
