The Gov. Rauf Aregbesola of Osun on Tuesday said students who wore unauthorised cloths to any public schools in the State would be expelled henceforth. According to information posted on the college’s website on Monday, June 13, the Nigerian beat 380 other postgraduate students to the top position at the institution over the weekend in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, in a record that spans 38 years by any foreigner in the college.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has given reasons  for freezing bank accounts of individuals, groups and organisations being investigated for corruption. It says the measure was to facilitate investigation of those concerned.

OJB Jezreel is dead

Nigerian producer OJB Jezreel has passed on. According to multiple reports he died a couple of hours ago after his kidney failed last week. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family in this trying time. Two years ago OJB had a successful transplant in India after his first wife Mabel donated a kidney to him.
