Aregbesola threatens to expel students ‘wearing choir robes’ to schools
The Gov. Rauf Aregbesola of Osun on Tuesday said students who wore unauthorised cloths to any public schools in the State would be expelled henceforth. Aregbesola stated this at the commissioning of St Micheal’s Government Middle School, Ibokun while reacting to different choir robes and garments wore to Baptist High School in Iwo by some Christian students.

Nigerian colonel wins big in US war school

– The Nigerian reportedly beat 380 others to
bag the prestigious awards – President Buhari, among other top ex-students of
the institution – No foreigner has achieved this feat in 38 years A Nigerian
colonel, Charles Nengite, has won prestigious awards at the US War College, the
News Agency of Nigeria reports. According to information posted on the
college’s website on Monday, June 13, the Nigerian beat 380 other
postgraduate students to the top position at the institution over the weekend
in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, in a record that spans 38 years by any
foreigner in the college.
OJB Jezreel is dead
Nigerian producer OJB Jezreel has passed on. According to multiple reports he died a couple of hours ago after his kidney failed last week. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family in this trying time. Two years ago OJB had a successful transplant in India after his first wife Mabel donated a kidney to him.
