 Dementia can be described as a group of symptoms affecting memory, thinking, and social abilities severely enough to interfere with your daily life. As an individual's age Increases, so does the risk of developing dementia. 

However, some lifestyle changes can help reduce the risk of developing it. The ways to keep your brain young and prevent the risk of developing dementia will be discussed in this article.

1) Build social networks: strong social ties have been associated with a lower risk of dementia, blood pressure, and promote long life expectancy.

2) Prevent your head from injury and eat diet rich in vegetables, cereals, fruits. Reduce your sugar intake, red meat, alcohol, cigarettes

3) Care for your emotions: good mental health and restful sleep is very essential. Studies have shown that people who are sleep deprived, depressed, or anxious tend to score poorly on cognitive function test.

Dementia can affect how you behave, think, speak, and feel. Therefore, it is essential to make the necessary lifestyle changes as you age.
