I don't know about you, but here's my prediction for tomorrow's World Cup Round of 16 clash between Portugal and Spain in the Dallas Stadium.
Spain have looked outstanding throughout the tournament, keeping clean sheets in every game while Lamine Yamal, Rodri, Pedri, and Mikel Oyarzabal continue to control matches with confidence and quality.
Portugal's journey has been much tougher, but Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, Vitinha, and João Neves have shown they can rise to the occasion even when the performances haven't been at their very best.
The biggest battle could be in midfield, where Bruno, Vitinha, and João Neves will have to find a way past Rodri, Pedri, and Spain's relentless pressing.
Spain will probably enjoy more of the ball, but Portugal have the pace, experience, and attacking quality to punish them on the counter with just one clinical move.
These are the kind of knockout games that are settled by one moment of brilliance rather than complete domination from either side.
My prediction: Portugal 1–0 Spain. 🇵🇹❤️
What is your take?
