Group of people protested in Abuja over the Kidnapped school students and official in Oyo State



The demonstrators, who marched through parts of the Federal Capital Territory, expressed frustration over the worsening security situation, chanting slogans such as “Rescue them or resign,” “Bring Nigerian children now,” and “Tinubu must go.”

During the protest, participants insisted that peaceful demonstration was their constitutional right and urged security operatives to allow them express their grievances without interference.

They called on Nigerians to speak out against the abduction, describing the incident as a reflection of the country's growing insecurity challenges.

The protest comes amid mounting pressure on authorities to secure the release of the abducted pupils and teachers. Gunmen had recently kidnapped the victims from a school in Oriire Local Government Area, triggering nationwide concern.
