Yamaha Product Review (PSR-E343)

Description:
Yamaha was established in 1887 as a piano and reed organ manufacturer by Torakusu Yamaha as Nippon Gakki Company, Limited in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka prefecture and was incorporated on October 12, 1897. The companys origins as a musical instrument manufacturer is still reflected today in the groups logo a trio of interlocking tuning forks. Yamaha has grown to become the worlds largest manufacturer of musical instruments including pianos, silent pianos, drums, guitars, brass instruments, woodwinds, violins, violas, celli, and vibraphones, as well as a leading manufacturer of semiconductors, audio visual, computer related products, sporting goods, home appliances, specialty metals and industrial robots

 Are you beginner ?

If yes then go for it , don't look for casio it may have lots of features but its nowhere near the quality of yamaha .

It has everything you need as a beginner if you love piano .

You can connect to PC
You can connect to Mobile
You can connect to sustain pedal
You can attach headphones ( you need 6.3mm headphone or jack )

Yes it have some indians voices and styles ( Sitar / harmonium / Tanpura etc )

Keys are very responsive.
And sound is best and nowhere near casio

I saw many negative comments here is explanation :
1.) Heavy - It is about 3-4 kg which is good , professionals keyboard is always heavy there are 6-7 kg versions too. 2.) Low Sound - NO , this is perfect sometimes my neighbors say to keep it down . Because there is responsive touch the harder you play the louder it responds. if you like to play soft you can always change settings. ( Make sure to use compatible adapter , it can be reason )

Good long term investment

Yamaha e 343 keyboard encompass almost all of the features that a beginner/intermediate keyboard player would desire for. Few of them being 1. Touch sensitive keys (3 levels) 2. Keys of this Yamaha keyboard though not quite weighted, they do provide a playing experience similar to a beginner acoustic piano that I tried at a music shop(which cost in lakhs btw) 3. Metronome (entirely configurable) 4. Record and playback 5. Sustain peddle attachment available Apart from these basic ones to look for, there are innumerable other variants in styles/voices to try out. A great lcd screen depicting which notes have been played, dual speakers, pre-built lessons that one can learn from, wonderful design as well as melody suppressor for instrumental song lovers. Plus a nice shopping experience while using snapdeal at a price that one cannot refuse. A worthwhile investment for anyone who wishes to learn the keyboard. IMO look no further.
I can talk about this all day .

Buy it , Explore it , Enjoy !!
