According to Punch , the Federal High Court in Lagos has on Wednesday, dismissed the money laundering charges leveled against a former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, by the EFCC .
The trial judge, Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia, in a judgment freed Fani-Kayode after holding that “the prosecution case is feeble” and had failed to prove the allegations against the accused person beyond reasonable doubt.
Is this just a script acted by lawyers and judges? Do you know that each time a high profile person is charged by the EFCC most times he or she is discharged with the same reasons. Please let me know your opinion.
