Real Madrid 'did everything' to sign Man Utd keeper

Real Madrid say they did everything they could to sign Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea, after missing the deadline by two minutes.

The 24-year-old's £29m deal and that of Keylor Navas going the other way fell through with Real saying United took eight hours to reply to contracts.
Real have released a statement  explaining the timeline of events and it is not thought they will appeal.

Manchester United’s Javier Hernández on verge of move to Bayer Leverkusen

Javier Hernández is set to end his five-year stay at Manchester United after he was spotted at Bayer Leverkusen on the brink of an £8.75m move.

Hernández, an unused substitute in Sunday’s 2-1 defeat to Swansea, spent last season on loan at Real Madrid and has failed to force his way into the plans of Louis van Gaal, who has turned his attentions to Monaco’s Anthony Martial.
