More Boko Haram Terrorists Surrender To Army Troops

The statement quoted the terrorists as saying that they were fleeing Boko Haram hideouts in Kafe, Njubulla and Buk in Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State.


Four Boko Haram terrorists and members of their respective families, on Saturday, surrendered to troops of 27 Task Force Brigade of the Nigerian Army. 
Their surrender was announced in a statement issued by Brigadier-General SK Usman, Director, Army Public Relations. The statement quoted the terrorists as saying that they were fleeing Boko Haram hideouts in Kafe, Njubulla and Buk in Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State. 
The same day, the statement added, troops of the same formation, with the assistance of vigilantes, arrested a suspected Boko Haram terrorist at Bungai in Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe State.                                  
The suspect, Madu Kwari, 25, was nabbed at about 6 p.m. as he fled a  Boko Haram hideout. He was in the company of three other terrorists, who are currently at large.
Similarly, the statement disclosed that troops of 159 Battalion of the Nigerian Army arrested one Hassan Yusuf, 43.
The suspect, described as a logistics supplier to Boko Haram, hails from Dangana in Chad Republic.
He was arrested while attempting to cross into Chad with smuggled spare parts and other items in a Toyota Hilux vehicle with registration number AE-646-VBY.

The statement explained that he is currently undergoing further interrogation.
