The 52-years-old, who was arrested by the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and arraigned at the Magistrate Court 2, Iyaganku, Ibadan on March 28, 2017, was nabbed when he was appearing as a legal counsel in the same Magistrate Court.
Ojo, who pleaded guilty was arraigned on two counts charge of conspiracy for impersonation and announcing himself as a lawyer, with charge No: MI/425c/2017.
The Magistrate, Mrs. Abiola Richard while delivering her Judgement sentenced the accused to 30 months’ imprisonment without an option of fine.
The prosecutor, Mr. Sunday Ogunremi told the court that the accused and others now at large between 2010 and 2017 at Mobolaji Law Chambers situated at No.1, Winners way, Basorun, Ibadan conspired with one another to impersonate.

Ogunremi said on March 27, 2017, the accused announcing himself as a legal counsel while also holding brief in a case with charge no: MI/1543c/2016 but was later found out to be an impersonator.
The prosecutor said the offenses contravened section 516 and 484 Code Cap 38, Vol. II, Laws of Oyo State of Nigeria 2000.
