Arsenal are reportedly preparing a world-record £125m raid on AS Monaco for France international starlet Kylian Mbappe, according to the Mirror.
The Premier League side, who finished fifth in the English top-flight standings last month, one point adrift of qualifying for the UEFA Champion League, have been linked with a mega-money move for the highly sought-after Monaco forward.
The 18-year-old, who has four international caps for his country, scored 27 goals and provided 17 assists in 59 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 champions last season.
Mbappe, who is also being heavily tracked by La Liga giants Real Madrid, is the hottest prospect in European football after a remarkable campaign under Leonardo Jardim.

So, in a bid to beat Zinedine Zidane’s club to the signing of the French starlet this summer, the report suggests The Gunners are plotting an enormous £125m bid for Mbappe’s services – a fee that would easily surpass the current world-record transfer fee of £89m following Paul Pogba’s return to Manchester United last year.
