WIKE BLAMES INEC ON VIOLENT ERUPTIONS IN RIVERS
Rivers state Governor, NYESOM WIKE has blamed the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC and security operatives for the violence that marred the supplementary elections in the state.
While speaking today at the government house in Port Harcourt, Governor NYESOM WIKE said the cancellation of the election in some Local Governments was because INEC failed to provide needed electoral materials.
He also claimed that security operatives deployed for the exercise acted beyond their brief.
