Benue State Caucus in the House of Representatives has berated the Federal Government over what its called “lukewarm attitude” to the massacre of over 1,000 people in Agatu Local Government Area of the state by Fulani herdsmen.
They described the massacre as genocide.
Speaking with journalists on Friday, in Abuja, the caucus leader, ORKER JEV said despite the outrage that had trailed the Agatu killings, the federal government had done nothing commendable.
He said that no concrete move had been made to stop the killings in Benue and queried the sources of the sophisticated ammunition brandished by the herdsmen.
