Suicide Bomber Kills Six, Injures 17, Friday Morning In Maiduguri Mosque

The ugly incident took place during the early morning Subhi prayer at a mosque behind Magistrate Court, Polo Area of Maiduguri metropolis.

However, two other accomplices of the suicide bombers escaped when some vigilant members of the community accosted them on their suspicious movements.



In the meantime, rescuers of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), have evacuated six dead bodies of the victims of an early morning suicide bombing in Maiduguri, Borno State.

A senior health worker confirmed that the 6 bodies have been deposited in the mortuary, while about 17 other injured victims are being treated in the Specialist and Teaching hospitals in Maiduguri.
