A Corps Member Killed By Armed Robbers In Edo

Armed robbers have killed a National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, member identified as David Ayansina, in Benin, Edo State capital. Two of the robbers have been arrested by the police.


The 21-year-old corps member, who was posted to Edo College, along Murtala Mohammend Way, Benin, for his primary assignment, was a graduate of Fine and Applied Arts from Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomosho, Oyo State.

Serve Nigerians, Not My Husband, Aishat Tells Buhari’s Aides

The wife of the President, Mrs. Aisha Buhari, on Saturday implored politicians who may be picked to work with President Muhammadu Buhari and all his political associates to be careful the way they carry themselves.

She said such people should be wary of the fact that it took her husband 12 years before getting to the position he currently occupies and hence, they should tread with caution.
Mrs. Buhari said this during an “Appreciation Dinner” she hosted in honour of the All Progressives Congress’ women and youths at the old Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
She said, “There was nothing that people did not say about the past administration. It is not former President Goodluck Jonathan that is not good but the people around him.

WWE says Virgil Runnels, a former professional wrestler known by his fans as Dusty Rhodes, has died. He was 69.
