Barcelona ‘close’ to signing Liverpool star

Barcelona officials have arrived England and are confident of reaching an agreement with Liverpool for Coutinho.

Barcelona is reportedly close to signing Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho to replace Neymar who made a world record move to Paris Saint-Germain.

With a massive $262m in the coffer after selling Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona are ready to splash over a $100m on a replacement.
They have identified Coutinho as a replacement. Spanish newspaper Sport are reporting that Barcelona are very close to signing the Brazil international.
According to the report, Barcelona directors on Tuesday, August 8 arrived England to quickly seal the deal.
Barcelona are looking to quickly seal the deal so Coutinho can be available to face Real Madrid on Sunday.
Barcelona officials Oscar GrauRaul Sanllehi and Javier Bordas are hoping to finalise a deal with Liverpool before the end of Tuesday.
The Nou Camp club have seen two offers turned down by Liverpool, but they believe that a third will be able to convince Liverpool to part with their star.
Coutinho has reportedly told Jurgen Klopp that he would love to make the move to Barcelona.
Klopp had always remained firm in his decision not to sell the forward but it seems his hands have been forced as Liverpool owners seem to be ready to let the player leave.
Coutinho would be Liverpool’s biggest sale if the move goes through as it is said to be in the excess of $100m.
Liverpool sold Luis Suarez to Barcelona for £75m in 2014.
