Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has apologised to the club for comments made by his agent, Dimitri Seluk about manager, Pep Guardiola.
Seluk had criticised Guardiola for leaving Toure out of City’s Champions League squad, after which Guardiola said that he will not select the player until his Seluk offered an apology.
Toure, who has not played since August 24, has now offered a personal apology to the club, while also apologising on behalf of those representing him.
Toure said: “Those statements do not represent my views on the club or the people who work there. I have nothing but respect for Manchester City and only wish the best for the football club.’
