Senate president, Dr. Bukola Saraki, on Tuesday, May 1, commended the BBC Africa, ‘Africa Eye’ documentary ‘Sweet Sweet Codeine’ that details the widespread prevalence of drug and substance abuse in Nigeria. In a statement sent to NAIJ.com by his chief press secretary, Sanni Onogu, Saraki stated that documentaries like ‘Sweet Sweet Codeine’ are real-life attestations on the need for Nigeria to take its drug abuse problem more seriously 

Trouble for Dokpesi as his US visa is allegedly revoked over looters list

Dokpesi, the founder of Daar Communication which has two radio stations and the African Independent Television, has sued Lai Mohammed, the nation’s information minister, who announced the list recently.

Meet Nigerian police officer who has never taken a bribe

According to reports by BBC Africa, Adewale Adedeji has never collected a bribe since he resumed his duties with the Nigerian police. They wrote on their Twitter: "Julius Adewale Adedeji is said to have never taken a bribe. He has been celebrated as Nigeria's 'most dedicated police officer."
