This is the time of year when people have over-indulged their desires in relation to
luxurious foodstuffs, chocolate and rich
confectionery. But in January each year they start to focus on how they feel about themselves based on what they have eaten in December. Most rush to the
gym, others start daily walking or running regimes and there is another group who take it to the extreme of booking themselves in for
gastric band surgery. This is pretty drastic and generally the option that people with larger amounts of weight choose to feel good about themselves quickly. But quick fixes are not the answer when it comes to lasting success in the age old battle against obesity.
