Chelsea want Zinedine Zidane as replacement for Antonio Conte

Frenchman Zinedine Zidane has reportedly emerged as a target for Premier League giants Chelsea who want him to replace embattled Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge. 


On Thursday, May 31, Zinedine Zidane announced that he will be leaving the Spanish club after winning third consecutive Champions League title beating Liverpool in the final in Kiev. According to the report by UK Sun, the Blues chiefs are now ready to ask if the 45-year-old France legend would want an immediate return to management.
But if Zinedine Zidane should opts for time out of the spotlight, his fellow 1998 World Cup-winner Laurent Blanc will be the new front-runner. Chelsea got cold feet over Maurizio Sarri due to his controversial past. Despite winning the English FA Cup in his second season as Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte failed to qualify the Blues for the 2018/19 UEFA Champions League.
