They have been friends for a number of years since filming the very first Thor movie.
And Tom Hiddleston, 35, reclaimed his bromance with main lead Chris Hemsworth 33, with the pair seen hugging it out on the set of the third installment of the movie, Thor: Ragnarok, in Brisbane, Australia on Monday. Ever since the duo met in 2009, the two have gushed about their friendship. 'It's quite literally a bromance,' Chris admitted on Saturday Night Live, last year.
Tom later tweeted: My goodness. My brother from another mother. Ladies and gentlemen: @chrishemsworth. On Monday, the duo greeted each other enthusiastically with bulky Chris almost squishing his co-star's foot. Tom squeezed the blonde hunk back tightly, wrapping his arms fondly around the star. They both sported casual zip-up hoodies with Tom pairing his with a dark slim-fit jeans and suede brogues, while his buddy wore mottled board shorts and black runners.
Chris had on his signature long blonde wig to portray the Marvel god Thor, while Tom sported a creepy greasy black weave to get into the character of Loki.
When the British actor was first interviewed about his role in Thor, he said his Australian co-star was 'made of granite.' 'I mean as soon as I met him I was like this man is made of out of granite...and Molten rock,' he gushed. Back in 2013, the pair joked about their bromance on the red carpet, with Chris telling reporters: 'We adopted him. He's one of the Hemsworths.'
To which Tom retorted: 'I am like the runt of the litter. You know when you get kittens and they're all black and white? And I am like the tabby one.'
The duo play brothers in the film, alongside fellow stars Cate Blanchett, Mark Ruffalo and Anthony Hopkins.
The film is expected to be released next year and is a sequel in the Thor franchise.
