The five-day ultimatum given by AISHA BUHARI, the president’s wife to Governor AYO FAYOSE to apologize over his allegation that she was involved in the Halliburton bribery scandal expired yesterday.
AISHA BUHARI had threatened to institute a legal action against Governor AYO FAYOSE if he fails to retract his allegation against her.
Feelers from Ado-Ekiti say the governor is not prepared to withdraw his accusations against the wife of Mr. President, AISHA BUHARI.
You will recall that Governor AYO FAYOSE few days back linked AISHA BUHARI to American Congressman WILLIAM JEFFERSON’s bribery scandal of which the US legislator was convicted in 2009.
