Army clarifies arrest of SSG, gives death toll in Rivers poll
The Nigerian police have released an official death toll for the
rerun election in Rivers state on March 19, Saturday. Adisa Bolanta, the
assistant inspector general of police in zone six, Calabar, confirmed that four
deaths were recorded while 22 people were arrested during the poll. He revealed
this at a joint security press conference in Port Harcourt.
Singer Nomoreloss Reported Dead
Singer Nomoreloss has passed on after battling an undisclosed illness since January 2016 according to reports. Best of Nollywood Seun Oloketuyi went on Instagram to post an RIP message. On his message there have been several other condolence messages from fans and colleagues including CapitalFemi. Nomoreloss’ social media page was last updated a couple of days ago on March 10. Nigerian Twitter has been buzzing about the sad news.
