The Yoruba football star who has cut ties with his father Kehinde

Alli, however, is not in this group.
According to his father Kehinde, Dele Alli is a Yoruba prince through his birth.

When Dele Alli first burst onto the scene with Tottenham in the 2015/2016 season, his name quickly struck a chord among Nigerians.
The name ‘Dele” was clearly of Yoruba descent and soon enough it bespoke that he was born to a Nigerian father Kehinde.

Tottenham produced a brilliant comeback to draw at Juventus after a disastrous start to their Champions League last-16 first leg in Turin.

The midfielder ditched 'Alli' from his Spurs shirt this season after revealing he feels 'no connection' to it .

Arsenal target CONFIRMS £10m Tottenham move via Instagram

Lyon winger Clinton Njie looks to have confirmed his move to Tottenham after he updated his Instagram bio to say he is now a Spurs player.

Njie had a superb season for the Ligue 1 giants last term and reportedly caught the eye of a number of Premier League clubs, with Tottenham’s close rivals Arsenal also believed to be interested in the Cameroon star.

Just as you thought he would, Gareth Bale returned to haunt Tottenham on Tuesday night, albeit in a pre-season friendly.

The Welshman, up against his former employers for the first time since he joined Real Madrid for a world-record £86million in 2013, rifled a 25-yard drive past stand-in goalkeeper Michel Vorm to cap a 2-0 victory for Rafa Benitez’s men in the Audi Cup semi-final in Munich.
