Be fore your divinely orchestrated intervention, many of us who saw through the facade were already sounding the alarm. From the very moment Senator Natasha made her allegations, we were convinced that not a shred of truth existed in her claims. On the very day she went public with her accusation, early that morning, I was live on Arise TV's 9 o'clock News in the night. I was interviewed by the seasoned anchors Ngozi Alaegbu and Adesuwa.

During that interview, I firmly described the allegation as patently false. However, I added, assuming but not conceding that if any evidence were presented, I would be the first to call for Senator Godswill Akpabio to step aside and allow for a full investigation. That simple, principled stance, asking for evidence drew the ire of a section of the public who, perhaps driven by economic frustration and disdain for public officials, had already convicted Senator Akpabio without trial.

What followed was a disturbing spectacle. When the Senate Committee on Ethics and Public Petitions offered the petitioner an opportunity to prove her claims, Senator Natasha instead dispatched proxies, including Oby Ezekwesili, to disrupt the proceedings. Thanks to your revelatory broadcast, the world heard clearly the behind-the-scenes exchanges between you and her, further exposing the motives behind this false crusade. The character behind the allegations became evident.

While many Nigerians suspected the allegations lacked merit, fear of the vocal minority kept them silent. For those of us who dared to speak out, who insisted on truth over propaganda, the backlash was intense. I personally received numerous calls from citizens who blindly believed Natasha and vilified Senator Akpabio simply because he is a politician, as if Natasha is not one. I responded that I had engaged Senator Akpabio directly, and he categorically denied every allegation. Meanwhile, Natasha continued to manufacture new versions of the supposed events, including claims that her refusal to succumb to harassment cost her legislative assignments. The trauma inflicted on Senator Akpabio, his family, friends, aids, and colleagues was enormous.

Yet, the God of justice did not sleep. In His own mysterious way, He sent you, Dr. Sandra Duru, fondly known as Prof. Mgbeke into the fray, armed with facts and fearlessness. You dismantled the web of lies spun in hell to destroy Senator Akpabio. Your emergence was nothing short of divine.

Have the attacks ceased? I doubt it. Will they stop? Only God knows. Now that their previous lies have collapsed under the weight of truth, they have turned to a new straw, claiming that Senator Akpabio should resign based on the 2019 senatorial election. But let the records speak: Akpabio was declared the loser in that election. from his stronghold. The Court of Appeal agreed and ordered a rerun.

To now suggest that a concluded 2019 election in which Akpabio never held office should be the basis for questioning his 2023 mandate, which remains unchallenged and legitimate, is not only absurd but reveals the desperation of his detractors.

But as with the counsel of Ahitophel, their plots will fail. We await the final victory, one that only God, the righteous judge, can secure. Remain blessed, Sister Sandra, and may all who stand for truth and integrity be strengthened.
