The process for electing a new leader should begin next week May said, after confirming that she had informed the Queen of her decision to step down while expressing regret that she had failed to secure a Brexit deal.

A new tax regime being put in place by the Nigerian government seems to bother operators in the country’s oil and gas sector, as they are seen kicking against the bill yet to be signed into the law. The proposed regime, seeking to amend the Deep Offshore and Inland Basin Production Sharing Contract Act, 2018 seeks to introduce additional 50 percent royalty on revenues above  $20/bbl 1993 real terms, which now translates to $35/bbl in 2019.

Gunmen ECWA Church In Kaduna, One Killed, Others Abducted

The Federal Capital Territory Development Authority (FCDA) through its Department of Development Control (DDC) had on Monday demolished the controversial Caramelo Lounge, a popular strip club, located at No 630, TOS Benson Crescent, Utako District Abuja,  for allegedly contravening the FCT land use regulations.
