Abducted Chibok Girls: Police Offer N50m Reward For Information

The Nigeria Police hereby announce a cash reward of Fifty Million Naira (N50, 000, 000.00) to anyone who volunteers credible information that will lead to the location and rescue of the female students abducted from Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State. The Force urges all patriotic citizens with such useful information to contact the following numbers:

'I will sell them' - Boko Haram claims responsibility for kidnapping Chibok girls

"I abducted your girls. I will sell them in the market, by Allah. There is a market for selling humans. Allah says I should sell. He commands me to sell. I will sell women. I sell women."

alleged Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau said in a video (he spoke in Hausa) that was released today.

There were reports about a week ago that some of the girls have been sold or married off for N2,000 each. With this new declaration from Boko Haram, it means the report is close to the truth. If they haven't been sold already, then they will soon...unless the Commander-In-Chief of the Armes Forces does something and does it fast. If you want to watch the Boko Haram video, go here

Former governor of Lagos State, Sir Michael Otedola dies

Former Lagos State governor and father of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, Sir Michael Agbolade Otedola, has passed away. He died today May 5th of a stroke related ailment. He was 87 years old.

Otedola was Lagos State governor from 1992 to 1993. May his soul rest in peace...amen..

Justin Bieber on Miami drink-drive charge after 'road racing'

Pop star Justin Bieber has appeared before a Miami court accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, marijuana and prescription drugs. Police say the Canadian was arrested after racing his sports car on a Miami Beach street.

Police chief, Ray Martinez says he did not co-operate when pulled over and also charged him with resisting arrest without violence and having an expired driving license. The 19-year-old singer was granted bail set at 2,500 dollars.

Boko Haram kills 38 people

Boko Haram sect have invaded two villages, Ngoshe and Kaigamari, in Borno state killing 38 people.
However, several houses are set ablze including shops, schools and  mobile telecommunications mast.

Ngoshe is located towards the eastern Gwoza town, while Kaigamari is a remote settlement in Konduga. Survivors of the attack say the armed men came in two sets forcing most residents i the area to flee their homes.  

However, Director of Defence Information, Major-General Chris Olukolade, said an operation to flush out the insurgents in the affected area is still ongoing.
